Phill and Liz Gross Learning Center

Welcome to the GLC!

Named for donors Phill and Liz Gross, Morgridge Hall’s Gross Learning Center (GLC) is a place for students to find academic support, resources, study space, and community.

The GLC is open to all UW–Madison students. In addition to course-specific drop-in tutoring, we host additional programming in support of student learning and success.

Find the GLC

The GLC is located on the second floor of Morgridge Hall between the academic advising suite and the undergraduate student lounge. To check in and get connected to a tutor, head to the red GLC welcome desk.

The GLC comprises open study space, the reservable glass-paneled huddle rooms immediately behind it, and administrative offices found next to the undergraduate lounge.

Drop-in tutoring for CAI courses

Did you know? You don’t have to be a student in the College of Computing & Artificial Intelligence to use the GLC! All of our programming, including drop-in tutoring for the courses listed below, is open to (and widely used by) students across campus. Check the Morgridge Hall KnowledgeBase for the GLC’s weekly tutoring schedules.
