Welcome to Morgridge Hall
Building the future
Opened in 2025, Morgridge Hall is the home of the College of Computing & Artificial Intelligence and a place where learning, discovery, and collaboration come together. Designed to bring students, faculty, researchers, and industry partners together under one roof, the building supports the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas that defines the college.
Named in honor of alumni and lead donors John and Tashia Morgridge, the seven-story, 343,000-square-foot building was made possible through a $267 million private investment. Natural light, Wisconsin art, outdoor terraces, and a variety of study, research, and gathering spaces create an environment designed to support both focused work and spontaneous collaboration.
In addition to housing the College of Computing & Artificial Intelligence and its departments (Computer Sciences, Statistics, and the iSchool), Morgridge Hall is also home to the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics, the Data Science Institute, the Center for High Throughput Computing, the N+1 Institute, and other partners advancing computing and data-driven discovery.
